A stomach-only operation to remove more than half of the stomach. The intestines (small bowel) are not altered. This is performed through small incisions. It reduces the amount that can be eaten and changes hormones to reduce appetite. Hormones like ghrelin, leptin, GLP-1 and more are changed to regulate your sugars and eating behavior.
