Acid reflux can cause bothersome symptoms of burning, coughing, nausea, or abdominal pain. If medications are not enough, surgery is an option for treatment.

Surgery is performed through small incisions. Surgery works to prevent acid from refluxing up and causing symptoms. The top of the stomach is wrapped around the esophagus to achieve symptom relief.
